One day my 7yo wanted to make a poetry journal. Wrote a note asking people to send their poems. Put that note in every mailbox on our street.Waited at the top of the driveway.

And then the poems started coming. From grown ups. Kids. People we’d never met. Someone even sent her $5 and said they wanted to subscribe to anything she ever does.
