As a sample from the issue here’s POEM WHERE EVERY EXCLAMATION POINT THRASHES A BEAT ON MY BELOVED’S DRUMS by David Eileen.
Thoughts & flares! Hold! the thoughts! Roadside! skin my!
every nerve! Turn noise! to! flint! & spark! behind my! eyes!
Lite-Brite for me! a picture! in pinprick! of her!
Some! might say! they can’t! hear themselves! think! Perhaps!
a person! ought to turn! some! damn! thoughts! up! to! eleven!
Did! a fuddy! duddy! ever! think! of that! Ear plugs! be damned!
Staccato! bursts! An aneurysm! to redden! my air! Cherry bombing!
around us! Seraphim! slobbering! jealous! over all! her fire!
What more! could! a body! need! to destroy! or to think! about!
Perhaps! thought! is longhand! for what! drums! destroy! in our hungry!
open! ears! Here! like sitting! or sugar! decay! ceaselessly comes!
through what! pacifies! roaring stadiums! inside us! So again! I say!
unweave! each seam! keeping! my blood! too clean! & butterfly!
with a sickened! beat! my comfort! Unweave it! whole cloth!
from my life! I seek only! stitches! ripped! Or the respite! offered!
with secret! or sacred! appetite! Only! complete! sublimation!
Tearing sound! to headache! or migraine! ripped! into light! No matter!
